In 2026, a total of eleven mixed stations will open, distributed equitably across all the city’s neighbourhoods

With this solution, Endolla Barcelona supports city residents in the shift towards real, everyday, accessible e-mobility that is suited to new urban uses

Endolla Barcelona, the public-access e-mobility network in Barcelona managed by BSM, is furthering its capillary growth strategy by launching the first mixed stations that allow cars and motorcycles to be charged simultaneously. This solution not only facilitates the transition towards the use of electric vehicles but also focuses on optimising the use of available space on public roads and improves user experience by expanding current charging point availability.

In 2026, Endolla Barcelona will open a total of eleven mixed stations distributed equitably across all the city's neighbourhoods. There is currently one operating in the neighbourhood of Les Corts (C/Europa, 12), and the stations installed in the neighbourhoods of Sant Andreu (C/ Torras i Bages, 11), Sarrià-Sant Gervasi (Av. Josep Vicenç Foix, 86) and Gràcia (Av. de la Riera de Cassoles, 6) are slated to open soon.

According to the First Deputy Mayor and Chair of BSM, Laia Bonet, ‘These new mixed stations are yet another step towards transforming mobility in Barcelona. We are committed to infrastructures that optimise public space, facilitate simultaneous car and motorcycle charging and support citizens in the shift towards more sustainable, everyday, accessible mobility.’

Users can check these points’ location and availability on SMOU, the personal mobility app with 1.7 million users.

Constant innovation to promote e-mobility

Constant innovation is the driving force behind Endolla Barcelona, as a key infrastructure in working towards more sustainable mobility. With almost 54,000 users and a total of 1,035 charging points, the network is constantly growing to meet users’ real needs.

The power available at the charging points in thirteen Aparcaments B:SM car parks doubled in 2025, giving vehicles more autonomy in the same time period, and the smart charging service was launched in nineteen Aparcaments BSM car parks, allowing users to plan their electric vehicle’s charging by indicating their departure time and the amount of energy needed.

On top of that, throughout 2026, Endolla Barcelona will start launching the first 160 kW charging points on public roads. This solution triples the power currently available and halves the time needed to charge a vehicle. To make it more accessible and offer an easier, more user-friendly experience, the public-access network will also allow card payments at the on-road charging points.

With this strategy, Endolla Barcelona is consolidating its role as a key public-access infrastructure by boosting charging station power and implementing solutions that improve the charging experience. The aim is to continue to grow sustainably and support city residents in the shift towards real, everyday, accessible e-mobility that is suited to new urban uses.
