Today, 22 June, the Amusement Park begins its summer season, extending its opening times during the weekends of July and the month of August

Two of its most popular shows are back: Gerónimo Stilton, in July, and the Laser Show, during the nights of August

Tibidabo will also be hosting the solidarity festival “Posa’t la gorra” [Put your hat on] to raise funds for children and adolescents with cancer, as well as the concert organised by the Vozes Association, which works with vulnerable groups

Tibidabo Amusement Park kicks off its 2022 summer season with the slogan “How long since your last Tibidabo time?”.

From 22 June, visitors will have even more time to have fun and enjoy an unforgettable experience, above the City of Barcelona, with extended opening hours. During the weekends of July, the Park will be closing one hour later, at 10 pm. And these extended opening times will apply throughout August, from Wednesday to Sunday. This means that visitors can enjoy all the Park's attractions, shows and catering services for 11 hours.

The summer hits are back

During these months, Tibidabo is bringing back two of its most popular shows for visitors. In July, younger children can once again sing and dance along with our most famous mouse, Gerónimo Stilton. And in August, young and old alike can enjoy one of the most popular closing shows of the season: the Laser Show, organised by 7ART, which will fill Plaça dels Somnis with light and colour every night.

Tibidabo, social and educational commitment

During the summer, the Park maintains its commitment to solidarity and education, by showcasing organisations and non-profit associations, as well as fostering educational sessions in a different setting. There are two solidarity events scheduled, with which Tibidabo collaborates every year. First, the “Posa’t la gorra” [Put your hat on] festival, organised by AFANOC, which raises funds for children and adolescents with cancer, as well as raising the visibility of this group. Then there is the concert organised by the Vozes Association, a music organisation that works to improve social cohesion and offers free, high-quality music training to vulnerable young people.

On 11 July, the Park is hosting the “Mathematics Route” as part of the International Adults Learning Mathematics Congress (ALM), with the collaboration of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. A group of 15 mathematicians from around the world will carry out experiments related to the Giradabo, Avió and Carrusel attractions, under the supervision of professor and researcher Luis Carlos Pardo.
