On 22, 23 and 24 December, grandparents will be able to access the park for free accompanied by up to two grandchildren under the age of 16
The large natural Christmas tree, the ice rink with the best views of the city and the new shows and activities will fill Tibidabo with magic and excitement until 5 January
The Parc d’atraccions Tibidabo is holding the eleventh edition of TibidAvis, an initiative that recognises the essential role of grandparents in families, encouraging them to experience the magic of Christmas with their grandchildren. This initiative emphasises the park's efforts to strike a work-life balance in facilities and transmit wisdom and love, offering them the opportunity to share a day full of fun and excitement in a one-of-a-kind setting.
This year's TibidAvis lasts a day longer than on previous occasions, taking place on 22, 23 and 24 December. On these dates, grandparents will be able to access the park for free accompanied by up to two grandchildren under the age of 16. In addition, people over 60 will also be able to enjoy free admission. To benefit from the promotion, visitors must show their ID at the Tibidabo ticket offices, the Tibidabo Store or the BSM Sant Genís-Vall d’Hebron car park. Over the past 10 editions, more than 7,000 people have enjoyed this experience thanks to TibidAvis.
Special holiday programme: ice rink, a large Christmas tree and new shows
The Parc d’atraccions Tibidabo is set to fill with magic as part of a special programme until 5 January, offering a chance to celebrate Christmas with family and friends. A large 12-metre natural tree in the Panoramic Area, special lighting for iconic rides and a new sustainable ice rink with the best views of the city are just a few of the park's great attractions for the festive season.
In addition, visitors can meet Father Christmas, a royal page and the evil Krampus, while Christmas shows will feature the park's mascots on their 10th anniversary, the mischievous elves and the classic “Tibimarionetarium de Nadal". A programme designed to fill every corner of the park with fun and Christmas cheer.
The magic of Christmas comes to BSM spaces
The Christmas programme at the Parc d’atraccions Tibidabo is part of the municipal company BSM’s new series of activities for the festive season. In addition to Tibidabo, the Zoo de Barcelona has already launched its new festive activities and put up decorations; and Park Güell, for the first time, is lighting up the Sala Hipòstila and has also put up Christmas decorations to encourage local residents to enjoy the magic of Christmas in the city from the park. Meanwhile, from 20 December, the Port Olímpic will also be filled with light, excitement and tradition.
