The Wilhelm Freak Show headlines a special programme running from 28 September to 3 November
Visitors to Tibidabo will have the opportunity to watch a new horror film at the Beyond virtual reality attraction and meet new characters from Espai 666
Horror and illusions will take centre stage in the evenings at Parc d’atraccions Tibidabo during the Halloween special programme, which will run from 28 September to 3 November. For the second consecutive year, the highlight of the season will be the Wilhelm Freak Show, in which around fifteen characters from Hotel 666 will display their darkest and most astonishing skills in the Plaça dels Somnis square.
The performance is based on the artistic genre of the freak show, which brings together individuals with unusual abilities. At the helm of this showcase of eccentric characters is Wilhelm, the master of ceremonies, who will present the mysterious creatures he has rescued over the years.
In its debut in 2023, the Wilhelm Freak Show attracted over 12,600 spectators, making it the highlight of the Halloween lineup at Tibidabo. This year, the show will return to the Plaça dels Somnis square and will start 30 minutes before the park closes.
Halloween decorations and new attractions
In addition to hosting the Wilhelm Freak Show, Tibidabo will present new attractions and a special Halloween atmosphere. During this spooky season, visitors to the Espai 666 will be able to interact and take pictures with characters such as Jason and Leatherface.
Another major draw at Tibidabo during this period is the virtual reality attraction Beyond, which will feature Traumatika, a spine-tingling zombie film. For Halloween, the park will welcome back an iconic character: the spooky violinist Murphy, who will wander around to surprise and scare guests.
Tibidabo will also feature face painting and makeup services on certain Halloween days, so that children can transform into monsters for a day.
