The concert will be given at the Moll de Mestral wharf at 12.30 pm on Sunday, with a song list inspired by the exhibition “José Guerrero. Concerning Landscape”, which can be seen at the KBr Fundació MAPFRE photography centre
This Sunday, 6 April, Port Olímpic will host a new concert in the KBr Live series, a cultural programme linked to the agreement between Port Olímpic, the MAPFRE Foundation and the Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB) to incorporate photography and performing arts into the Port’s family leisure offering.
A group of students from the Fundació Conservatori Liceu will be performing the free concert at the Moll de Mestral wharf, starting at 12.30 pm. The group will perform classics from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, along with popular Italian songs from the repertoires of Mina and Ornella Vanoni.
The group is made up of:
- Blanca Funes (vocals)
- Roque García (tenor sax)
- Ot Granados (double bass)
- Pau Serra (drums)
The exhibition “Bravo” has also been on display at the Moll de Mestral wharf since 3 March, a photography exhibition by the KBr Fundació MAPFRE photography centre. The display consists of 22 photographs by Colombia's Felipe Romero Beltrán, winner of the KBr Photo Award.
